If you’re going to spill your beans in our coaching sessions then it seems only fair that I spill a few too. And it’s also important that I let you know I’m not coming from a place of academic coaching knowledge, but of lived experience of being a small business owner (combined with coaching know how).

Ok, so I’m Grace. I’ve come to coaching through what feels like many other sections of my life. Scottish by birth, I became an adopted Londoner. Studied theatre design, self-employed since graduation… now over 25 years. Doing all sorts! Theatre, film, dance/performance, Camden Market stalls selling creative stuff.
Then a career in television and film; art directing, on set, all sorts of shows and films. Getting up at 4am to get to work, meeting famous folks, standing outside in the freezing cold or baking sun for 10 hours a day.
Next motherhood, a move to Norfolk. The need for work that fits with children led to a successful cleaning business, and then coaching. Oh and I run a festival prosecco bar too.
This may seem like a jumble of occupations; there are common threads. Creativity, dissecting stories and situations. A love of people. Supporting and facilitating. Analysing problems, finding the solution. Practical, always practical. It’s no good just talking about stuff; we must act on our findings to make change.
I come from the heart, with the strongest belief in the power of people, that we can all achieve our dreams, reach our fullest potential.
Sometimes though, we can’t see the sunshine for the clouds. Coaching can be the help you need to get through the grey and back out into the blue sky.
